Questions

If yours is not here, ask — support is a real inbox.

Do I need an account?

No. Press start recording and you can record, edit and download three clips a day without giving a name, an email or a card. An account — which just means signing in with TikTok — raises that to ten a day and lets you post from the review screen.

Is it really free?

Yes, with published limits. See pricing. There is no card field on this site.

What do I need to install?

Nothing. The recorder runs in the browser, on a phone or a laptop.

How long does a clip take?

Usually a few minutes. It depends on the length of your take and on whether anyone else is rendering at the same time — the editor is one machine and works through a queue. The dashboard shows the real state the whole time.

What if it gets stuck?

A job that stops making progress is put back in the queue and retried, up to three times, then marked failed with a reason. It will not spin forever, and it will not disappear quietly.

How big can my file be?

500 MB. That is a long take at phone-camera bitrates.

Does it change what I said?

No. It removes silence and abandoned false starts. It does not rewrite, reorder or generate speech — every word in the output is a word you said, in the order you said it.

Can I edit the captions?

Not yet. Captions are generated from the transcript and burned in as rendered. If they get a word wrong, re-record that line and run it again. A caption editor is an obvious gap and it is known.

Are the captions a separate subtitle file?

No, they are rendered into the picture. That is deliberate: burned-in captions survive downloads and re-uploads, and they play in feeds that ignore subtitle tracks.

Will anything post automatically?

Never. Posting requires you to open the review screen, choose the caption and the privacy setting, and press the button. The full description.

Can I use it without connecting TikTok?

Yes, and plenty of people should. Download the MP4 and post it wherever you like, by hand.

How long are my clips kept?

Thirty days, then they are deleted automatically. Download what you want to keep.

How do I delete everything now?

Write to ruben.ganzerli@gmail.com and it is removed. See support.

Is my video used to train a model?

No. It is used to make your clip, and it is deleted after thirty days. It is not sold, licensed or used for advertising.

Who is behind this?

One person — see about.
