Talk. Get a finished clip.
Record straight from your phone. Media I/O cuts the silence and the false starts, burns word-by-word captions, frames you vertically, and hands the clip back ready to post — usually before you have finished making coffee.
No account, no email, no card. Your clip is yours to download.
What you get back
One take in, one publishable clip out
The dead air is gone
Pauses, breaths and the three attempts you made at the first sentence are cut out. What is left is the take you meant to record.
Captions are burned on
Word-by-word subtitles, timed to your voice, rendered into the video — so they survive re-uploads and play with the sound off.
Framed 9:16
Cropped and centred for a vertical feed at a constant 30 fps, which is what TikTok, Reels and Shorts expect from a phone recording.
The pipeline
Four steps, and you are only in two of them
- You record a take, in the browser, or upload footage you already have (up to 500 MB).
- The editor listens and transcribes it, then removes silence and repeated starts using the word timings.
- Captions and framing are rendered in — one pass, 9:16, 30 fps.
- You download it, or connect TikTok and post it from the review screen without leaving the page.
Posting
Nothing leaves this site without you pressing the button
If you connect a TikTok account, the finished clip arrives on a review screen first. You watch it, write the caption, pick who can see it, and set the comment, duet and stitch toggles — every option read live from your own account's settings, none of them pre-selected for you. Then you press post. There is no autopilot, no scheduler, and no path in the code that publishes anything you have not looked at.
How the TikTok integration works
Your clips, your comments, your messages, one screen
Creators with an Instagram professional account can connect it to Media I/O. Each clip and its caption wait on the same review screen, and nothing is posted until you press the button. Once a clip is live, the comments on it and the messages it brings in arrive on your dashboard, so you can read and answer them from one place. Media I/O only touches the account you connect, only to show its data back to you and to post what you approve. Nothing is sold or shared.
How the Instagram integration works
Cost
Free, with limits that are published rather than discovered
Three clips a day without an account, ten a day with TikTok connected, and forty a day across everyone using the service. Files up to 500 MB. Clips are deleted after thirty days. That is the whole pricing page, but there is a longer one if you want the reasoning.
Being straight about the size of this. Media I/O is a small service that renders video on a single machine. When several people record at once you wait in a queue, and the dashboard tells you that instead of spinning. If the editor goes dark, your job is held and re-run — it is not silently dropped.
